Genoa CFC has kicked off the Genoa Summer Camp, an event dedicated to young footballers, taking place in Arenzano from June 15 to 20. This is the first round of the Beach edition, with a second round scheduled for the following week, from June 22 to 27. Additionally, there will be two rounds of the Mountain edition held in Val di Fassa during the first team's training camp. The club's young talents continue to shine in youth tournaments. The 2018 team triumphed in the Aosta Tournament, defeating Juventus in the final with a goal from Podestà. A special guest at the event was Benedetta Signorini, who visited the team to congratulate them. The 2015 team achieved a commendable second place in the Venice tournament, where they overcame Juventus in the semifinals but fell to Verona in the final match. Tomorrow, the U17 team led by Mimmo Criscito will face Fiorentina in the return leg of the playoff quarter-finals, a highly anticipated match for all the red and blue fans.
